Our philosophy is to provide clients with unique and cost-effective
solutions. In doing so, we place great emphasis on knowledge sharing
to ensure we leave clients with the skills, experience and confidence to
carry the results of projects forward.
In May 2015, Tavares Group Consulting launched a research project with Mitacs and Western University to test the effectiveness and applicability of the Sustainability Toolkit’s 13-step process among organizations across multiple sectors.
Over the course of the summer, student interns have been gaining hands-on experience in 
sustainability planning and implementation at various partner organizations. The interns have been assessing the current level of sustainability within their organizations and working hard to implement different programs to help them reach their sustainability goals. During the past four months the project team has met regularly to share best
practices, brainstorm and give the partner organizations involved in the study a chance to highlight their sustainability initiatives.
The data collected from the research project will be used to update and improve the Sustainability Toolkit and develop version 2 of the Toolkit’s digital Action Plan & Assessment Tool. We are excited to see all of the great sustainability projects being implemented within the organizations and across different industries!
