Tavares Group Consulting Inc. is proud to announce the launch of their new website, in celebration of their 10-year anniversary this fall.
Sandra Tavares, Principal of Tavares Group, expresses her thoughts on the outcomes and achievements Tavares Group has had over the past 10 years: “It’s been quite an evolution from a one-man operation working out of home in 2004 with one client to an office in downtown London with a number of associates and projects. Management systems have always been key to our business. Over the last 10 years we’ve added other areas of focus such as greenhouse gas, drinking water, integrated pest management, etc. But what we’re seeing increasing in prominence is sustainability – one of our favorite topics!”
The site offers a new fresh look that is organized to ensure easy navigation and increased interactivity with clients. Social media has become a critical tool in distributing information. The integration of social media to the website pages will serve to strengthen relationships with clients and partners as they are informed of activities and efforts in real time. “The new site brings attention to the diversity of projects we have worked on over the last 10 years and brings life to Tavares Group Consulting”, adds Sandra. “Our blog, where we post updates and articles on relevant and informative industry topics, is featured on the new site, while details about our past and current projects are also accessible.”
Tavares Group Consulting has some exciting projects lined up for 2015, including the next evolution of the Sustainability Toolkit. According to Sandra, while the Toolkit is currently being tested by Toolkit Ambassadors in a variety of sectors, “the electronic version is in the process of being developed, with the assistance of Fanshawe College and NSERC, improving the reporting capability and functionality for all Toolkit users”. Other projects that Tavares Group has planned in the upcoming year include the anticipated launch of ISO 14001:2015, their participation at speaking engagements, and timely and relevant blogs.
